I had the privilege of working with, and then supervising Emily, while working with her at Disney/Avalanche. Emily was a strong performer in everything she did, but made a tremendous impact when we set out to create an outsourcing group from scratch, for our studio. Starting from nothing, Emily worked to source and evaluate vendors, establish policies and procedures for working with external groups, and then worked to insure that our internal teams were providing the proper source design to allow the external teams to execute while managing the quality and fitness for use of the deliverables supplied from our external vendors.
This was no small feat. Imagine getting a group like Disney to approve sending artwork for a movie that hasn't been released in theaters, to countries where their cyber-security standards may be nearly non-existent. The challenges and red-tape were never-ending.
Emily is a joy to work with and has a very warm and caring personality, and brings out the best in those she interacts with. She is dedicated, passionate and conscientious in all the she does. Emily is confident but not arrogant. I found her to be fearless when it came accepting new challenges and she had very good instincts when it came to problem solving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Emily for any position she thought she could handle, and I would expect her to excel.
